USDA

USDA stands for the United States Department of Agriculture. It is a department of the United States government that regulates all kinds of programs that is associated with agriculture, rural development, food, natural resources, and nutrition. Its aim is to stimulate the economic opportunities for people in the rural area, to ensure that Americans have food on their plate, and to preserve the natural resources. The USDA was established in the year 1862 under the advocacy of President Lincoln where, at the time, an estimated 50% of Americans thrived in farms.
