SUSHI BOND
Slang term for a eurobond from a Japanese issuer. It is a bond a Japanese firm issues outside the country, which is denominated in another currency except the yen. If another Japanese company purchases a sushi bond, it won’t be counted against the regulatory limits of foreign securities holdings.
