SUPER CURRENCY
Currency linked to a single currency or a basket of reserve currencies. Printed by the International Monetary Fund, the idea behind the super currency has been regularly discussed among world leaders, and also endorsed by Nobel Memorial Prize awardee Joseph Stiglitz and well-known business leader George Soros. However, the interconnectedness of global financial markets and concerns on volatility made the concept less popular due to the system being connected to one currency.
