A trader in the copper who lost more than $2.5 billion for Sumitomo Corp. in Japan, his employer. The losses accumulated from unauthorized trading in secret accounts from 1985 to 1996. Also known as Yasuo Hamanaka or referred to as Mr. 5% because he once controlled 5% of the world copper market.
