CAPITATED CONTRACT
Healthcare insurance policy allowing payment of a flat fee for every patient covered in the plan. An HMO or managed care organization pays a set amount of money for its members to the policy provider. Also called capitation agreement, capitation contract, or managed care capitated contracts.
