BEAR TRAP
A wrong warning that the growing trend of index or stock has change when it has not. A bear trap gives a hint to traders to put themselves in a short position on the stock or index, since they assume the underlying to decrease its worth. In contrary, the index or stock did not drop, instead it recovers a little or stays flat.
