BACKFLUSH COSTING

It is a system of product costing that is commonly used in an environment of just-in-time inventory. It actually delays the process of costing until the goods’ production is done. These costs are eventually flushed back when the production run ends and they’re now assigned to the finish goods. this method eliminates the tedious and detailed cost tracking throughout the process of production, which is a key feature of traditional systems of costing.
