ADDRESS COMMISSION
A payment of vessel owners to charters. Charterers are the ones who owns the cargo and render the service of shipbroker who will then look for a proper ship for the delivery of the cargo. The total fees acquired by the charterer are deducted with the amount of the address commission as a result.
Free of address, it indicates to the non-payment of the address commission of a charter.
