WALA
Weighted Average Loan Age (WALA) is a dollar-weighted average that measures the age of the individual loans in a mortgage pass-through or pooled security. It is measured in months starting from the origination of loans. The weighting is normally based on the size of the loan in proportion to the aggregate total of the pool.
