TERMS OF TRADE - TOT
Relationship between the value of a country’s imports and exports. Expressed as a percentage, it is computed by dividing the value of exports by the value of imports, then multiplying it by 100. A percentage lower than 100% indicates the country has more capital going out than coming in. Conversely, a percentage higher than 100% states the country is accumulating capital.
