TANKAN SURVEY
Economic survey of Japanese businesses compiled and issued by the Bank of Japan four times a year: in April, July, October, and mid-December. The survey entails information on influential and successful firms. It is used in formulating monetary policy, determining trends, and measuring the economic climate for the following quarter.
