SUPPLEMENTAL LIQUIDITY PROVIDER - SLP
One of three main market participants on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), which employs complicated high-speed computers and algorithms in creating high volume on exchanges to bolster liquidity on the markets. The exchange pays the provider a rebate or fee as an incentive for providing liquidity.
