STRANGER-OWNED LIFE INSURANCE - STOLI
Insurance obtained with the intention of moving the ownership to a third party, normally investors. In general, it refers to purchasing and selling a new life insurance policy to an investor or a group of investors who have no insurable interest on the insured individual. The policy allows investors to profit from the insured’s death.
