STIX
In technical analysis, a short-term trading oscillator comparing the trading volume of advancing and declining stocks. It oscillates about the 50 level, with values above 50 indicate advancers outnumbered decliners, and values below 50 denote decliners outmatched advancers. Generally, its trading range is between 42 and 58. Levels below 42 signal extremely oversold conditions while levels above 58 imply overbought conditions.
