SHARE REPURCHASE

Share Repurchase is a program. In the financial industry, it means that a company is buying back its own shares from the market to cut on the amount of outstanding shares. There are two ways to do this. Either the company directly buys from the market or make a deal with the shareholder to tender the shares directly to the company at a pre-determined value. Typically, a share repurchase means that a company views its shares as undervalued.
