SEC FORM PRES14C

SEC Form PRES14C is also referred to as ‘preliminary information statements: preliminary special meeting.’ This means that SEC Form PRES14C is a filing to be filed by a registrant for the notification of shareholders in the event of a special meeting being held. SEC Form PRES14C may also be used by security holders who have the right to vote on the company’s issues for which no proxies are solicited by the company. The data gathered under SEC Form PRES14C includes information regarding a specified person like directors, officers, and associates and whether they had an interest in corporate matters which varied from the interest of the general shareholders or whether their intentions are for the opposition to be taken by the company. SEC Form PRES14C is needed so that it may be stated that proxies are not being solicited. SEC Form PRES14C is now obsolete.
