SEC Form N-2 is a filing used for the registration under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the offering of the shares under the Securities Act of 1933 to submitted by close-end management investor companies with the exception of small business investment companies licensed by the Small Business Administration under the Securities and Exchange Commission. SEC Form N-2 gathers data to be presented to investors regarding information on close-end management companies in order to determine the potential of the share for investment.
