RATE OF ADOPTION
A term referred to as the number of members of a society who start to use a new innovation or technology in a specific period of time. Aspects that affect the adoption rate are the ease at which the new innovation may be adopted into a daily life, the expense involved with trying the innovation, and the ability of other members of society to see those who have already adopted the innovation.
