NATURAL SELECTION

Process where species with certain traits allow them to adapt in an environmental survive and reproduce, passing on their genes to the next offsprings. It means the species that can adapt to a particular environment will increase in numbers and eventually substantially outmatched the species that cannot adapt. It also enables species to better acclimatize to its environment by modifying its genetic component with each passing generation. Changes are gradual, which can normally arise over thousands of years. But in some cases, this can emerge way faster.
