MODIFIED SHARPE RATIO
A ratio used to evaluate the performance of a risk-adjusted business or a business technique. An amended version of the original Sharpe ratio, it includes abnormal or skewed date. This is computed by dividing the excess returns by the modified value at risk. The higher the rate, the lower the volatility of an asset.
