MCKINSEY 7S MODEL

An organizational effectiveness model that presumes there are seven key internal factors of an organization that need to be arranged and reinforced in order to obtain its objectives and improve performance. The model is also utilized to help firms adjust with changing environments that appears through mergers or acquisitions. The McKinsey 7S Model was developed in 1980s at McKinsey & Co., a consulting firm, particularly by the firm’s consultant Tom Peters and Robert Waterman, authors of the management bestseller book In Search of Excellence.
