LIPPER LEADER
A rating method by Lipper that grades the success of mutual funds according to the goals the fund has achieved. The funds are ranked based on total return, consistent return, expenses, preservation, and tax efficiency. The top 20% of funds are named Lipper Leaders, taken from the Thomson Reuters mutual fund company named Lipper. Asset managers, financial intermediaries, and mutual fund companies highly regard Lipper’s benchmarking and classifications as the industry’s standard.
