LIABILITY INSURANCE
Any type of insurance coverage that guards an individual or business against the risk that they may be sued and became legally liable from a person’s negligence, malpractice, or inappropriate action, which results to bodily injury or property damage. The insurance policy covers both legal costs and any legal payouts; the insured would be legally liable, if found guilty. Intentional damage and contractual liabilities are usually not included in the coverage. A product manufacturer typically purchases liability insurance in the event their product is flawed and caused damage to customers or any third party.
