LAST MILE
In the context of telecommunications, it refers to technologies and processes used to connect the customer to a communications network. Also known as "last-mile problem", it pertains to the final, time-consuming, and costly step of connecting to and from a product or a consumer.
This type of connection is plagued with technological issues and said to be too expensive to be solved.
