IRISH STOCK EXCHANGE – ISE
A stock exchange located regulated by the Bank of Ireland that was established in 1793. Located in Dublin, Ireland, ISE was first acknowledged by legislation in 1799 after the Irish Parliament passed the Stock Exchange (Dublin) Act. In 1973, the stock exchanged merged with other British and Irish stock exchanges and became part of the International Stock Exchange of Great Britain and Ireland. This was called the London Stock Exchange. After more than two decades, ISE became independent in 1996.
