INTERNATIONAL BOND
A long-term debt investment that is issued to an investor in a country by foreign firms or governments. The interest is paid at defined intervals while the principal amount will be paid back to the bond’s purchaser upon maturity. International bonds include eurobonds, global bonds, and foreign bonds.
