INSTITUTIONAL FUND
Mutual fund that directs high value investors with low management fees but highly minimum investment requirements. These funds aim to regulate money for huge institutional investors such as endowment funds, pension funds, and other high net worth entities. Usually, institutional fund offers much lower MERs than retail fund but also obliges a minimum investment much bigger than other funds, certain hedge and private equity funds withstanding.
