INSTALLMENT RECEIPT
Issuance of debt or equity in which the buyer fails to pay the full value of the issue up front. A preliminary payment is made to the issuer at the time the issue ends. The remaining balance must be paid off in installments, normally within two years. Even though the purchaser has not fully paid the issue, the individual is still entitled to full voting rights and dividends.
