GUARANTEED BOND
Debt security offering a secondary guarantee the interest and principal payments are given by a third party if the issuer default due to insolvency or bankruptcy. The bond can be corporate or municipal, guaranteed by a bond insurer, a fund or group entity, or a government authority.
