GRADUATION RATE
Percentage increase in the monthly payment on graduated payment mortgage. The increase appears at fixed intervals, normally annually. The interest rate on this payment is set in the entire life of the loan. Initial monthly payments are fixed below a fully amortizing payment, and escalates over the graduation period until the payment is large enough to amortize the mortgage for its remaining term.
