GIFT CAUSA MORTIS
Gift to be given at a later date in expectation of imminent death. If the giver passes away due to ailment that is different from the anticipated death, the gift won’t take effect. It can be recovered by the giver until the donor’s death as long as no property, concrete or symbolic, has been given to the recipient.
