Contract participant who has proven his capabilities in risk management in respect to commodity trading, and receiving or delivering the underlying commodities of a futures contract. The entity may refer to a dealer for hedging and risk management tools, or serve as the market maker in commodity or derivative transactions. The Commodities Exchange Act outlines the requirements for qualified commercial entities.
