Business model or portion of a bigger business model allowing an individual or company to conduct business by using an electronic network, normally the internet. eCommerce operates in all four of the key market segments: business to business, business to consumer, consumer to consumer, and consumer to business. It entails processes such as procurement, order entry, transaction processing, payment, authentication, inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer support, among others. Almost all products or services are offered through e-commerce.
