DASH TO TRASH

It is when the investors seek to invest in stocks and bonds that have lower purchase prices in order to get in the market. Dash to Trash usually happens during a bull market. Process of flocking to purchase securities and other assets which drives up the price well past the point of the true value. Most often occurs with low end stocks that can potentially offer a high yield bond, but can happen with any type of security. While the dash-to-trash effect can occur within any type of security, the phrase is typically used to describe low-quality stocks and high-yield bonds, both of which can be subject to periods of overbuying in the markets.
