CURRENT TRANSFERS
Current account transaction in which a resident entity in a country gives a nonresident entity a real resource or financial item without expecting something in return. It is a transaction where the sender receive no quid pro quo in exchange. This is represented in the balance of payments by one-sided transfers. Such examples of current transfers are remittances of workers, donations, foreign aid, tax payments, and grants.
