CORPORATE DEBT RESTRUCTURING
Reorganization of a firm’s outstanding obligations or liabilities. Companies in distress frequently achieved by cutting down its debts, specifically decreasing the rates paid and prolonging the time to pay the obligation back. In some cases, the creditors can erase some of the debt by accepting an equity position in the firm.
