COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT
Financial account owned and used by a business or company. It refers to a checking or other types of demand deposit account. In the United States, the Federal Reserve’s Regulation Q prohibits banks from paying interest on this account. Instead, they must pay earnings credits based on the average account balance.
