CLEAN-UP REQUIREMENT
Requirement often written in the contracts of annually renewable lines of credit. Borrowers are mandated to repay any outstanding balance on a revolving line of credit then cease its use for a defined time period. These are normally imposed to prevent borrowers from using lines of credit as continuous permanent refinancing.
