Associate-level designation conferred to investment managers. To obtain this certification, one must pass an examination and met work experience requirements in the financial services industry. Before, this designation was a pathway to the Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC) designation. The Institute for Investment Management Consultants awarded this certification.
