CASH ASSET RATIO
Total current value of marketable securities and cash divided by the firm’s current liabilities. It compares the amount of highly liquid assets for every short-term liabilities. The data is used to gauge a company’s liquidity or capacity to settle short-term obligations. Also called liquidity ratio or cash ratio.
