CAPITAL COMMITMENT
Future capital payments that a firm has pledged to pay out on long-term assets over a particular time period. This also talks about the securities inventory brought by a market maker. The capital commitment may also discuss about investments in blind pool funds by venture capitalists, which they provide over time when demanded to do so by the manager of the fund.
