CAPITAL BLOCKADE
A style of financial sanction in which a group of countries or a country tries to entirely stop or somehow limit the number of investment capital transferred into another country that is seen to be doing questionable actions. The main aim of a capital blockade is to make the offending country's economic progress suffer, to the point where it will agree to confront and deliver a good conclusion to the issue(s) at hand.
