CAPITAL ADDITION
The expense included for providing more fresh assets or improving existing assets within a business. Capital additions can get the form of supplying fresh parts that could be fairly assumed to boost helpful potential or life, and/or providing more fresh assets to bolster production.
Capital additions are not to be distracted with repairs, which only retain the growth of an asset. Capital additions are assumed to raise the productivity or life of an asset.
