CALL WARRANT

A monetary instrument that grants the person who holds it the power to purchase the underlying share at a particular price, before or on an indicated period. Call warrants are usually part in a debt offering or new equity from a company, in order to supply an added inducement to promising investors. This instrument are particularly unattached from the bond certificate or accompanying stock and not included on major stock exchanges.
