BUSTED BOND
Bonds, issued by an issuer, that defaulted on the payments or principal amount to the debt holder. The busted bond holder is considered bankrupt and would need to liquidate his assets to pay off the holders. It also pertains to convertible debt securities with insignificant conversion value.
