Independent company or contractor working for an insurance company responsible for selling insurance products to certain insurance brokers. Brokers then sell these policies to the public. These agents can concentrate in one aspect of the insurance industry, or they call sell policies across various insurance firms. Aside from selling coverages, they also give different supportive services for individual brokers such as tracking cases, getting online applications, giving immediate policy quotes, and answering questions relative to underwriting.
