BOW TIE LOAN
Short-term, variable-rate loan which defers unpaid interest charges above a preset interest rate. Variable-rate loan refers to a loan where its interest rate fluctuates relative to market interest rate. Once bow tie loans are issued, it sets the interest rate and when the market rate increases beyond the preset rate, it delays the interest payment until the loan’s maturity.
