BAILOUT BOND
A debt security given by the Resolution Funding Corporation in order to bail out the loan and savings association during the financial crisis of late 80's and early 90's. The bailout bonds possess zero-coupon Treasury bonds to aid the principal amounts, creating the instruments as a safe investment.
