AVERAGE PROPENSITY TO CONSUME
It refers to the income’s percentage that is used on buying goods and availing services instead of savings. The average propensity to consume can be calculated by dividing what is spent by the household or the average consumption by the average income earned. The inverse of APC is the APS or the average propensity to save.
