AT-THE-CLOSE ORDER
An order connoting that a trade is to be conducted at the market close , or to the value nearest to the closing price. An at-the-close order is one in which the exchange or broker is directed to make sure that an order is only filled at the specified time of the trading, most of the time coming just before the end of trading on a particular day.
